​SNHAHEC offers fun, educational and interactive summer camp experiences for middle school and high school students.
​The students have the opportunity to learn from professional health care staff from diverse communities. Each camp is very unique, full of hands-on activities, and packed with great learning.

Health Career Exploration Summer Camps!

AHEC's Health Career Exploration Camps are for students interested in nursing and other health careers in grades 9, 10, and 11. Each camp is 9am-12:30pm, plus one full day field trip. Transportation is available from designated pickup locations.

The full cost of camp is $50. We want this camp to be open to everyone. If you are able to pay the full cost, your support helps us keep the camp running and offer lower prices for others. If $50 is not affordable for you right now, please choose the Pay-What-You-Can, $25, option at checkout. No explanation needed. Email [email protected] for scholarships.

  • Visited nursing homes, hospitals, the VA Medical Center, American Red Cross Blood Bank and the NH Medical Examiner's office
  • Dissected a pig heart
  • Became CPR Certified
  • Learned about orthopedic occupations and visited Dartmouth-Hitchcock where we learned how to apply casts
  • Learned about oral health and how it affects your overall health
  • Learned about proper nutrition
