Meet our 2020-21 Fellows!
What is the NP Fellowship Program?
The Lamprey Health Care Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program is an extra training program for new nurse practitioners. In a fellowship program, Nurse Practitioners receive additional training and experience through a formal mentoring program. This helps them when applying what they have learned in school to day to day care of patients.
Fellows in the program are fully credentialed Nurse Practitioners. They have completed their education, have passed their board certification, are licensed Nurse Practitioners, and are employees of Lamprey Health Care just like any other provider. The Fellowship Program simply provides the opportunity to begin their health career within a supportive, mentoring environment. The ultimate goal of the program is to develop competent and confident primary care providers, giving them a solid footing upon which to build their career.
The Lamprey Health Care Fellowship has expanded to include members of Wendy Wright and Associates, located in Concord and Amherst, and Ammonosuc Community Health Services in Littleton.
The Lamprey Health Care NP Fellowship program is staffed by members of the AHEC team. Visit Lamprey Health Care's page for the application and more details: http://www.lampreyhealth.org/careers/nurse-practitioner-fellowship/.
