The CHW Apprenticeship Program is an opportunity for CHWs working in NH to “earn while they learn”.
CHW Apprentices must be employed by a sponsoring organization.

The Program is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration with additional support from a partnership with ApprenticeshipNH.
AHEC staff can assist employers in registering with the Department of Labor as a CHW Apprenticeship Site.
Participants can be new CHWs or can be people who previously took the Core Competency Training and want to extend their learning with additional courses.
