Preceptor Development Program

Welcome to the Preceptor Development Program. These modules are adapted from material developed by The Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina, through a HRSA Family Medicine Training Dissemination Grant.

The purpose of this program is to provide faculty development training that is relevant and easy-to-use for busy community-based preceptors. The program is intended for clinicians who teach students in community based settings thatÊinclude, but are not limited to,Êhospitals, homecare agencies and medical offices.

This continuing education session has been awarded 1 contact hour by the Southern New Hampshire Area Health Education Center as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the New Hampshire Nurses' Association Commission on Continuing Education, which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
